About Tachovo
Tachovo is a small piece of software for the office answerable for drivers' hours in Great Britain. It has two halves. The drivers' hours check is free and works out, from the hours a driver has actually done and the limits your operation works to, when the next break and weekly rest fall due, what driving is left today and this week, and what the day comes to once breaks are counted. Tachovo Pro is the record that follows: every card download with its date, the driving analysed against those limits, and every infringement raised, sent and signed, kept and exportable at any time.
Why this site exists
This site exists because tachograph compliance is judged on paperwork produced months later, and the paperwork is usually spread across a bureau's reports, a folder of printouts and one person's memory of what was said to a driver. The download date, the analysis and the signed infringement are three things, and they should be one record.
Who it is for
The transport manager, compliance clerk or owner-driver in a GB haulage, coach, skip, tipper or van fleet who downloads cards, analyses them and has to produce the evidence
Not a driver at the roadside, not somebody applying for or replacing a card, not a student of transport law, and not a fleet shopping for telematics
What it does not do
- No regulation text and no legal advice: the limits on every sheet are figures you enter, with the usual ones as defaults, and what the law requires of your operation is between you and whoever advises you
- No opinion on whether you would pass an investigation: the record shows what was downloaded, found and signed, and the rest is a decision somebody else makes
- No analysis bureau ranking, no introductions and no leads: we sell nothing but the software
- No driver-facing content: this is written for the office, and a driver looking up a symbol is better served elsewhere

What Tachovo Pro keeps
Upgrading turns the check into the evidence. The download has a date and a deadline; the analysed driving sits against the driver and the vehicle; the infringement is raised, sent, signed and kept. Export is always available, so the compliance history is yours whether or not you stay.
